We're a heart-led team of industry experts and Mindless Academy alumni.
Laurie is in love with the idea reimagining a better world through the businesses we lead, the things we create and consume, and the people we become. Her promise is to live a life of never-ending curiosity and learning, to continue down the path she's on - forever in pursuit of being a better version of herself. That's why she created Mindless Academy. An expert in digital transformation and business strategy with over 15 years’ international experience at some of the world’s leading brands, Laurie is perfectly placed as CEO, leading the Mindless team in their heart-led hustle.
Georgia first joined Mindless Academy by taking part in our virtual work experience programme while studying Media Production at the University of Lincoln. Since joining the team, Georgia has continued to embody everything that Mindless is about; a never-ending hunger to learn and grow, to grasp opportunities and embrace challenges. She has worked in all areas of the business, bringing our experiences to life and supporting students and graduates on their journeys. Today, she works closely with our university partners to implement our experiences and deliver results.
Dekan is an International Coaching Federation Member (ICF) and Certified Professional Coach since 2021. At Mindless Academy, he leads our ongoing series of live sessions that bring to life our virtual work experiences through reflection and discussion. Here, he uses coaching tools and techniquies to support students on their joureny of personal and professional growth. Dekan's ability to curate a safe and supportive environment where students are free to explore themselves through meaningful conversation is complemented by his current role as Head of Media at University of East London.
Imi first joined Mindless Academy by taking part in our virtual work experience programme while studying Fashion Knitwear at Nottingham Trent University. This experience opened her eyes to the world of digital marketing and gave her the confidence to secure a placement as a Design Assistant at Pentex. After completing her degree, Imi joined the Mindless Academy team as Digital Marketing Coordinator with a focus on bringing our experiences to life through community. With an A Player mindset, Imi continues to develop her skills and unlock her true potential with Mindless Academy.
Louis first joined Mindless Academy by taking part in our virtual work experience programme while studying Business and Marketing at Nottingham Trent University. This experience gave Louis a shift in mindset and boost in confidence, later empowering him to secure a placement as Consumer Marketing Assistant for Sony Europe. Throughout his placement, Louis actively sought out mentoring from Laurie to support him in his commitment to lifelong personal transformation and professional growth. As Ambassador at Mindless Academy, he continues to play an active role in our team and community.

2020 | Mindless Academy is born
Mindless Academy was founded in 2020 by Laurie Stewart, to support students and graduates with the Mindset, Skills + Experience they need to thrive. After lecturing at a UK University, Laurie saw first-hand the disparity across students work experiences. She made it her mission to make work experience accessible and equal, in a way that celebrated students as whole humans.
2021 | Partnership Growth
In 2021, Mindless Academy began partnering with more and more universities across the UK, all buying into the Mindset, Skills + Experience recipe for success!
2022 | Personalisation At Scale
In 2023, Mindless Academy began welcoming more team members on board, all working toward the same mission of delivering impact at scale.
